End Chronic Pain and Regain Mobility
with Somatic Yoga Therapy
✓ Non-Invasive Pain Management
Avoid surgery, injections, and medications. We use a menopause-informed, science-based holistic approach to alleviate joint stiffness and chronic aches.
✓ Target the Root Cause of Pain
We don't just stretch; we use Somatic Mobilization to re-educate your nervous system, addressing the underlying patterns that cause tension and limit your movement.
✓ Gentle Practices for Nervous System Regulation
Down-regulate your nervous system using somatic techniques. We use intentional movement and breathwork to release chronic contraction, calming the 'fight or flight' response that often accompanies long-term pain.
✓ Reclaim Mobility, Flexibility, and Strength
Increase your functional range of motion and regain ease of movement. This is where we transition from relief into Corrective Strength, ensuring your body is stable, resilient, and ready for the activities you love.
✓ Personalized Care and Home Yoga Practice
Receive one-on-one guidance from an IAYT certified Yoga Therapist and a personalized home yoga practice designed to accelerate your healing.

Your Questions About Somatic Healing

While a studio class is general, Somatic Yoga Therapy is a 1-on-1 clinical approach. We use Somatic Mobilization to target your specific pain points and re-educate your nervous system. We focus on resolving the chronic tension that keeps you in pain. This process begins with a comprehensive client intake and assessment to create a highly personalized plan, backed by a rigorous standard of expertise. An I-AYT Yoga Therapist completes over 1,000 hours of advanced study in anatomy, physiology, and psychology, whereas a typical yoga teacher completes 200–500 hours aimed at teaching a sequenced group class.

Absolutely. Our foundation is built on safety and non-invasive pain management. Because I am an IAYT-certified Yoga Therapist, we work within your current 'pain-free range of motion.' We meet your body where it is today to build the path toward functional mobility.

You don’t need hours of free time to see a transformation. Most clients who commit to just 5–10 minutes of practice per day begin to feel a noticeable shift in their ease of movement and a reduction in pain within the first 3 to 5 sessions. My goal is to make movement a sustainable part of your life, not an added stressor. While my one-on-one sessions provide the foundational deep work, my personalized home practices ensure you continue making progress every day. By focusing on efficiency and the root causes of your tension, I help you achieve a pain-free life on a timeline that respects your busy schedule.

Yoga Therapy is excellent for down-regulating the nervous system and providing immediate relief. However, for that relief to stay, the body needs functional strength to support the joints and maintain proper alignment. By transitioning into Functional Strength Training, we 'lock in' the mobility you’ve gained, ensuring your body is resilient enough to handle daily life, prevent future injury, and improve long-term bone density—which is vital for women 40+.
