Hello, I’m Tina van Hamersveld.
Thank you for stopping by. I am passionate about helping women like you heal from chronic pain because…I can relate.
I understand the unique challenges of mid-life: the transition of the empty nest, the hormonal shifts of menopause, and especially, the onset of joint pain, stiffness, and aches that begin to limit once-loved activities.
It was my own journey that led me to become an expert in chronic pain relief through Yoga Therapy. I suffered for years with chronic pain in one of my legs as a result of a past injury that never healed. Despite consulting countless specialists, the pain continued. Feeling unsupported and frustrated, I knew I had to figure it out myself. I refused to live the rest of my life limited by my condition.
I firmly believed in the resilience of the body and was determined to find a way to heal. I delved deeply into my yoga studies, dedicating myself to continuous learning, training, and practice, culminating in an 1000-hour IAYT-Yoga Therapy certification. This specialized training in therapeutic somatic movement and nervous system regulation, not only helped me completely resolve my own chronic condition, but also illuminated my true passion for helping others find holistic relief.
My Mission
Through this journey, I realized that women in this stage of life need the specific, menopause-informed support I did not receive. When it comes to chronic joint pain, you need a safe, non-surgical option that gets to the root of the problem, like somatic mobilization, rather than masking the symptoms.
That's why I dedicate my work to helping women relieve chronic pain using a holistic approach that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
With my extensive experience as a personal trainer for women, I’ve developed a complete system called The Resilient Path to help my clients in the North County San Diego area remain truly pain-free. It integrates Somatic Yoga Therapy with Functional Strength Training to build the stability and strength women 40+ need to protect their joints, support their bones, and live without limits.
Now, I am excited to share my knowledge and support you on your own healing journey, safely and holistically. When I’m not helping others, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with my husband, three grown children, and friends.
Thanks for getting to know me a little better. I look forward to hearing your story and helping you find lasting relief from pain so you can regain your mobility and get back to the life you love.
